Favorite Things from 2024

Forstner Bits – Adam Savage introduced these to me through a youtube video, and they are so much better than normal hole saws.

Dermoplast – I get the ocassional scrape, and man does this make it feel better so quickly.

Terro Ant Killer – My place gets ants, this gets rid of them in a safe way.

Vacuum Floor Light – Floor grime shows up like magic. It is so satisfying to see the dirt disappear. (Here’s an example)

Night Light – These are dim enough that they make my bathroom light enough to navigate at night without turning the light on, and have light and motion sensing. I have it just detecting the ambient light, so it’s on if it is dark in the room.

DIY Stream Deck – I got the idea on how to do this from this youtube video, and I use HIDMacros to run autohotkey scripts when the keys on my additional numpad are pressed.
